Zadzooks: Toy Fair 2009, Hasbro showroom

By Top Star Wars Toys, July 3, 2010 Star Wars Videos

www.washingtontimes.com Washington Times’ reporter Joseph Szadkowski covers the 2009 American International Toy Fair. Here’s the sixth in a series of video segments devoted to the New York City event. A tour through the Hasbro showroom found plenty of toys and action figures based on Star Wars, GI Joe and Marvel Comics. With movies such as “GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra,” “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” and “X-Men Origins: Wolverine and the popular cartoon series “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” Hasbro should have a very successful year.

Princess Midori told me that she got that email from you. She said that she WILL enter you in this drawing, but if you want to be in future drawings, you have to give your FULL mailing address when you enter.

The best place to find them is ebay. Either search “cardback” or “recard”. You will find people selling them there.

Well, he does scream “IT’S A WRAP!” at the end of the credits in every episode! LOL

Anyway, I remember those Burger King glasses well. That was back when they gave out glasses made of REAL GLASS for their movie tie-ins, instead of the crappy plastic ones they give out now.

Another great episode, guys. The Admiral was in rare form this week — drinking AND playing the fishing game?! Damn. I’m just waiting for the episode that he screams out “IT’S A TRAP!”

Entered the contest…fingers crossed.

And for the question of the week: Even though they’re not the most valuable items in my collection, I think I love my ESB and ROTJ Burger King glasses most of all.

Yes, it’s the address to your house, or your PO Box. Wherever you want the figure mailed if you win.

July 4, 2010

It’s OK if you entered the complete name of the figure. You don’t have to write it exactly as it is in the video. As long as you put the name of the figure in the subject line, and put your mailing address in the body of the email, you WILL be entered into the contest.
