It was a big pain to learn the games controls, but it was worth it. Once I finally started building my own factories, buying and assigning escorts to trade ships, etc. it was a lot of fun.

I never bothered to pay it properly either. The whole thing is just too boring, but I like the graphics.

I would have prefered multiplayer options (sort of like Freelancer). That would have been great. Maybe X4 will be better…

Looks like a fantastic collection. I stopped playing X3 reunion about 3 hours after I bought it and I’ve never played it since. I just couldn’t figure out what to do and it wasn’t fun for me.

Either way, these look like cool ships. Is there a way to change the fov in the game so that it isn’t so “fisheye lens” like?

X3 reunion is without a dought my favorite space Sim as its got a peaceful feeling to it in some sectors and excellent battles and continuess modding scripts to it aswell.

The startrek ships in it are some of the best you can get. They are the same meshes used in Starfleet Commander 2 imported over to X3 and they do the job wel. Essepically the prometheus.

They are all great artists, and Egosoft’s X3 is a really pretty game to play, even with the stock ships.

All I can say from a first impression…. Excellent detailing and wonderful effects and shading. Whomever made these ships, have my kudos.

well, dont forget the newly introduced faction, or shall i say reintroduced, there technolegy is 100s of years beyond the common wealth, argons, boron, etc. and they have many of there ships plus the earths Torus, they were around before the other races became sapce worthey i think before the terraformer wars. lets see a bunch of sovereigns take on a Tyr or an Odin, let alone face the torus station

yeah but if u look at how many ships the X3 universe has and then look at star trek universe, star trek: the federation has over 2000 ships and if we count the romulans, klingons, cardassians, and all the smaller empires, then u have ALOT of ships.

sooo you need a few soverign class ships to destroy 1 of an X3 destroyer? lol, that kinda proves my point

if they hit the star trek ships yes, the star trek ships are smaller and MUCH faster and they have more accurate weapons so a few Sovereign class ships with tricobolt torps would probably kick some a**. plus star trek ships don’t need jump gates to travel . but thats just what i think

definetly get it. I just got it a few days ago, and from what I’ve read from alot of youtube comments, alot of people have been buying this game within the past month-even though it’s for original xbox and came out 5 years ago. It’s without a doubt one of the most fun first person shooter i’ve played in a while. and as a plus, IT’S STAR WARS-AND YOUR A CLONE TROOPER! definetly get it. the only flaw with this game is that there are only like 6 or so different kinds of enemies. but still get it!
