Whose Line is it Anyway – Funny Star Wars Clips

By Top Star Wars Toys, June 8, 2011 Star Wars Videos

Some funny Star Wars clips from the television show ‘Whose Line is it Anyway?’.

Star Wars Deleted Magic (Revisited). Download the DVD for free at The Pirate Bay. Restored from 12fps to 24fps, using Twixtor Pro to generate new frames between the original frames. The scene was released on a CD_ROM in 1999 and has never been seen in 24p quality before. The shot of Ben swinging his lightsaber was hand-animated by Garrett Gilchrist to restore the Lost Cut version of the scene. Star Wars deleted scene – an early edit of the Cantina scene starring Mark Hamill, Sir Alec Guinness, Anthony Daniels, Harrison Ford, and others. Restored by Garrett Gilchrist, who created the popular unofficial, not for profit DVD documentary Star Wars: Deleted Magic. The jedis have a saying, and it simply goes like this .”For now on I want to be know as Helen.” What kind kind of name is Obi Wan Kanobi? Call me Helen. bvvvvv I thought yours was bigger. As I grow old the light grows dimmer. bvvvvv

I just love this scene. Luke, Han, and Obi-Wan at their best!

@Khrome1
Nice idea, but it is common nerdy knowledge that Jedi mind tricks work on the weak-minded only. I wouldn’t consider Han a weak-minded person, so, Obi-Wan was right to not try any funny tricks on Han, or else he would have jeopardized their escape from Tatooine.

So many memories of when Star Wars was good, before George added all that shit to the “special” editions.

I have to say, Ok, MAYBE Kurt Russell could have played Han Solo (but only if it were with Snake Pliskin-ish style(Escape from N Y) And perhaps Robby Benson could have pulled off Luke Skywalker. Cindy Williams as Leia? Dunno’bout that…..Anyway, I just cannot see ANYBODY except Alec Guiness playing Obi Wan. I almost feel as if he was the glue that bound the other relatively new & inexperienced actors together. Form what I read, he was a total professional & joy to work with in Star Wars.

The old edition used hard cuts between the color and B&W footage. This looks much better, but the color footage lacks too much saturation

I especially love the blending between the lost and released material. The best presentation of this scene’s “lost version” yet. Terrific.
