@NeoTodesklingel lol of course he was a sith, he became sidiou’s apprentice and fell to the dark side, ergo sith. he had no red lightsaber because he had no red crystal for it, i dont think that was sidious’ priority at the time lol.

i read a while back that a red crystal has a bit more power..or whatever you want to call it.. but not enough so it doesnt really matter & jedi dont care about this extra little power.

@NeoTodesklingel Wrong, he is a Sith. That was clear as soon as he took Darth Vader as his name. His unfettered rage is a result of his lack of experience with the dark side. He learns to use the dark side more effectively when he begins to hunt down surviving Jedi.

The blue saber symbolized how corrupted he was. He had become so evil that he used a blue Jedi’s saber against his brethren in the name of the Sith and his selfish desires. It was supposed to be fundamentally wrong.

Your editing of the fight is a lot better than the original. The fight really benefits from being shorter because now the energy between them isn’t diminished over time. I was actually entertained throughout most of it while the original bored me by the halfway point. I especially like the way that Anakin and Obi Wan just look at each other at 7:18. That was a lot more effective then the sappy dialog in the original. Less is more as they say.

I tell all of you ONE – important Thing…
It was the most important Detail of Anakin in the Third Episode of the new Movies that he had NO Red Lightsaber when he turned evil.
Because he was not a “Sith” – he was a Jedi on a rageful Rampage. This is not a Matter of a Mistake, it is a Matter of Niveau.
Only because Anakin got evil that doesn’t make him a Sith. And that Obi Wan said he is like or “is” a Sith now is not truly correct, too.
Sith’s are no mad Monsters, Dooku were also not ; )

Well done I didn’t think Vader deserved the Lightsaber of a Jedi Guardian after what he did red suits Vader better.

@stangabe1993 Yeah, but the weird thing is at the end of this battle Obi-wan takes Anakin’s lightsaber, which will later become Luke’s first.

Since Anakin turned to the sith, makes a lot more sense to have a red lightsaber. Plus, looks better that way!

In the latest cut Padme’s crying is taken out after she gets force choked. It works alot better now. It looks like she’s struggling to talk at all. But nothing comes out. I think it helps the scene a ton.
