@jayhoffer The Patriot Act is an invasion of privacy. But I knew you wouldn’t take issue with it. Big government is scary only as long as a black democrat is in charge. When Bush put his nose where it doesn’t belong you probably felt a surge of patriotism.
The lies that he’s told only benefit the right. Didn’t increase taxes on the rich, didn’t close Gitmo, didn’t end the wars, took forever to get DADT repealed. (Which I disagreed with. It should still be there.) The right should love Obama.

@SmallpoxRot The Patriot Act isn’t unconstitutional. The Constitution protects American citizens at home. The Patriot Act does not give intelligence agencies the right to spy on American citizens at home. Abuses have happened, and those abuses need to be punished, but that is a far cry from the Patriot Act being unconstitutional.

Regardless of whether or not I agree or disagree with what Obama has done, he still openly lied, and not just about the wars. Taxes, the health care bill, and more.

Obama always lies? Hardly. I’ve caught him on a few things, but I knew he wouldn’t be able to end either war in the Middle East. I was surprised that he didn’t close Gitmo, but the righties want that open anyways. If anything, he’s lied to his base. He’s too far to the right.

Bush reduced the deficit up until the end of his term, Obama has increased it every single year.
