@Blastbarnacle I forgot about those damn doors. You’d think more characters would be killed by the doors than anything else.

“special effects without story is boring”
YOU HEAR THAT HOLLYWOOD?!

@Draugoth: The Star Wars universe is one, giant law suit just waiting to happen. No guard rails; they don’t post waring signs of any kind anywhere. The doors and hatches open and close so rapidly that if you’re a second late you’ll get crushed. Damn irresponsible is what it is.

this is the most honest and intelligent review I have seen in a very long time. A masterpiece!

I always wondered…why don’t they put guardrails on the walkways in those power generators?

What you said about the lightsaber battles is exceptional. If you ask anyone to recall a singular moment from a lightsaber battle from any of the movies, it definitely wouldn’t be from the prequels. When everything is amazing and tightly controlled, nothing is interesting.

“…but we never see the Jedis run fast again. Maybe there never really was a need to run fast again…

… oh… yeah… that would have been a good time.”

@kitchen867 Maybe George ate too many Dark Side Cookies (TM) over the years. That’s why he completely effed up as a filmmaker.

Anyone notice how weird (as in WRONG) the outside view is when they are looking out the window at 3:18? How is that even possible?

The fight scenes were long and drawn out like some of your comments. I found myself fast forwarding through your review.

2:56 Yes, because Darth Maul, the closest thing to a proper outright villain (Principal Constantine don’t count) looks so threatening whilst looking like a munchkin.
