@ProdigySYndromeProd The Rebels did, earlier in the war. They had several Lucrehulk-class battleships (the donut ship) and many smaller ships, but they were no match for the new ISDs. Imperial technology was actually far more advanced than that of the Old Republic and CIS. As such, it was only when the Rebellion got their hands on some Mon Calamari cruisers that they could face ISDs in conventional warfare.
