While I don’t deny your opinions are very valid, you don’t give the hardcore fans enough credit. Many of my friends and I drew many parallels between Palpatine’s rise and that of real world politicians.

But there are many 9/11 signs and portents in films going back as far as 1977(CEOTTK). There don’t seem to be any obvious ones in Lucas’ films,except maybe that title. In BBC doc The Power of Nightmares, the maker describes Al Queda as ‘The Phantom Menace’. Many folks didn’t get the title. I don’t find your explanation convincing.

You’re the first person I’ve ever heard theorize that Lucas literally “contributed” to 9/11. Besides maybe unintentionally writing a hero for the real murderers (Darth Sidious), I think the idea is moronic.

You wrote that, “otherwise, the title makes no sense.” Maybe you haven’t seen TPM (which explains the other comment), but the meaning of the title is crystal clear. An unknown insider is pulls strings with the Trade Federation and Republic. Hence, “The Phantom Menace.”

1. Excellent analysis and insights! Alex Jones described these films as following the ‘Problem – Reaction – Solution’ MO. I think the timing of these films is key also. Phantom Menace:1999 – 2 years before 9/11. I believe ‘Phantom Menace’ is a title deliberately given by an insider who had advance knowledge of the forthcoming ‘war on terror’ against a fabricated, manufactured enemy. Otherwise the title makes no sense. There are a lot of 9/11 subliminals in films, this is Lucas contribution.

Okay so LUCAS was a Truther the whole time? I’ll admit you did a better job EXPLAINING THE PREQUELS better than anyone else did. Still, they could have done a better job with the acting, and getting the message accross.

Really cool..a good numbr of people believe Lucas didn’t create this amazing universe single handedly, some people think it’s a real galaxy and it’s this one we are a backwater planet that is much to young to join the senate and have a voice on Galactic affairs.. it’s possible as everything that happens one arth is minisule of what happens on the other dimensions and in other galaxies.

one is so that people go, aww, you just got that off a movie..
