I have two small sons who are huge Star Wars fans. This was purchased by them with their pooled allowance money. A big hit was the cardboard background included in the package so be careful when opening the box! This is played with all the time even if the vehicle itself isn’t in constant play.
Please note that this Republic vehicle does not come with any figures. It does open to allow a figure to man the fighter plane and it has shooting missiles. This is a cool feature as it allows the boys to attack Jedi figures they have painstakingly set up. It has survived mid-air crashes so it’s sturdy.
My boys prefer playing with the driving vehicles the most but do use planes on occasion. The least favorite are the pods so don’t waste your money on them. We got it on sale so overall, it was worth the price.
