So Ben Kenobi was originally suppose to live, huh? That just proves that Lucas was making up this $hit up as he went along. Vader was Luke’s father ?! Luke and Leia were brother and sister !? Vader built C-3P0?! Midichlorians!?!?!

“Actually I was terribly disappointed in how it did; I expected something much bigger.”
LOL ohhhhh Harrison Ford

It’s funny that George says that it was his idea to kill off Kenobi, when it was actually Alec Guiness that had to convince Lucas. He didn’t like the movie and wanted to minimize his part in the next movies.

1:40 I love how Sir Alec Guinnes extends his light sabre:
– 1: Point it towards the camera
– 2: Turn it slowly to your right
Great thinking!!!

This is nothing short of amazing.
In the same way that people look up bootlegs of their favourite bands to enjoy them more, this allows fans to truly enjoy the movie in a new way, and get behind all those things that made their childhood minds run wild.
Thanks.

WOW! I still can’t believe how much behind the scenes footage you’ve found!

I’m not going to go on and watch the next one. I have an essay to write. I’m not going to watch the next part. Not gonna do it.
…How could it hurt? *click*

@eastvaleguitar Yeah, I never noticed that before either. So I went to look for some other clips of Obi-Wan’s death, and I doesn’t happen like that in the movie. Perhaps it was a special edition clip, but in the movie, Vader’s laser sword just goes right through Kenobi’s robes and it crumples. Not even any fire.

@disengagejam misquote demonstrates fallibility of eyewitness testimony. 8:06 Don’t ever trust your memory again you weren’t even close.

I had never thought how similar to a world war two film the fighter scene is

Such a brilliant series man!! So awesome. Part 11 is extra magical for me as at 7:00 you see Kenobi’s robe get cut in half. I’ve never noticed that before!!

They should’ve left this 00:17 in the movie. I always thought it was two stuntmen.

love Harrison Ford’s humor: “i was alittle shocked how the movie did, I thought it would be bigger”

The rehearsal clip of Harrison Ford shooting and saying “Bang bang!” while Carrie Fisher says “Luke, it’s too late” in a monotone voice is so surreal. It’s like watching the actors who played the iconic roles portray them like small children reenacting the movie.
