FYI it’s “Jengo”, not “Jango”.

You should’ve typed “dog fight” instead of “space fight” in the title.

The slave 1 is a beast…..same with those seismic charges……if the slave 1 existed I would get it or one of Prince Xizors Star Viper. My flag ship would be the Super Star Dreadnaught The Eclipse which in the expanded universe was the Emperor’s personal warship.

I am not suprised if the Americans developed weapons like that at area 51

Does anybody notice how the slave 1 leaves the asteroid cave twice, and in two separate directions? How weird.

Jesus those bombs are fuckin AWESOME. They just suck in all the sound and then release it full force. The audience was cheering wildly when that happened the first time I saw this movie in theaters

@shadowq2 Yeah there are a few movies that have done the ‘no sound in space’ thing successfully (Serenity did a pretty cool job) but for a movie like this where there isn’t much else of value, it could at least sound fun. XD

@hawaiidispenser You don’t even have to thank Lucas…you can probably thank Ben Burtt, or at least his team.
The sound design is, thankfully, one area Lucas kept his big nose out of entirely and let the good team do their good work, like a real director should.

@shadowq2 that’s right, but I don’t feel disappointed ’cause I read that Lucas wanted his movie to have noisy space battles by design.

@IDRGSKYWALKER QFT
seismic charges + ship noise + asteroid break = fail
there is no sound in space, at least that we could hear it
but wait, it is a movie
