Star Wars Asteroid Chase Scene – Alternate Music

Okay, so one day I was watching some Star Wars Episode II on YouTube and I found myself watching the asteroid chase scene with Obi-Wan and Jango Fett over and over again. I few months before, I found an awesome song on YouTube in the Empire Strikes Back soundtrack. Just for kicks, I thought I would play the asteroid chase scene music from the ESB over the asteroid chase scene video in the AotC. The results were so phenomenal that I thought I would combine them into one video. It matches up really well, with a change in the music nearly coinciding with a change in scenery/tactic to get rid Obi-Wan. It also matches up especially well towards the end. (note: the pesky music from the Attack of the Clones soundtrack sometimes interferes with the music I overlayed. I didn’t completely omit the audio from the movie because I wanted you guys to hear the special effects.) The song Clones by the band Ash. The game included a music vid with the song, but it was a really short version of it. But the full version of the song plays during the credits.

how come seismic charges have a horizontal blast radius, but Obi-wan is having such a hard to avoid it, just fly above or below it :/

Pretty good. There are times when the music goes well just in the background, and times when the music really syncs up well, like 1:00 to about 1:08. Great build. Same with 1:13 to about 2:12. There are times when I think the music could be better suited if bumped up by a second in that sequence. Then after, I think there could be some editing. I’d strongly encourage you to try editing multiple songs, and stitch them together, see what you get. I’d be interested to see what you come up with.
