I’m very happy with yellow Y-wing bomber that Hasbro released from the TV series. I’m hoping they’ll release a move-correct Y-wing bomber based on this Y-wing, but with a working droid socket and more playability features. I’ve been tempted to buy this but I have a feeling one day they’ll release something like that. I waited years to buy a Millenium Falcon, AT-AT, or AT-ST because their proportions weren’t correct and my prayers were answered recently. I’m prepared to wait more for what I want.
Star Wars 30th Anniversary Y-Wing Review
Â
Review of the 30th Anniversary Y-Wing. I apologize for the dark visuals, Youtube pretty much takes away all the detail when uploading from Pinnacle.
Â

New for 2009, this remote control toy features a droid caller and R2-D2. It beeps, it moves around, it lights up, and it can, in theory, be yours. The design is based on the cartoon.

Unfortunately i have never been to Canada. So i am not sure what is available to you. What you can do is search the internet for online or retail stores that specialize in collectable toys. Besides that you can always try to check for fairs, conventions and such taking place that allow toy/collectible dealers. I get harder to find stuff at such occassions and you can even discuss the price between competitors hehe.

Well the TIE-Bomber and the Y-Wing are both bombers, thus support craft. So if i wanted to outfly the TIE i would jump into an A-Wing and obliterate it with greater speed and manueverability. Then again we are talking about toys here lol. Y-Wing is more detailed and unique in my opinion. Besides the V-Wing is much cooler than the A-Wing. =)

Great review man
I’m really in two minds now – I don’t know whether I should get this one or a Legacy A-wing to combat my 30th anniv. TIE Bomber. What would you prefer ?
The TIE Bomber is my only real Star Wars toys when looking aside from my Star Wars Action Fleet collection.

Thanks for the reivew man. I chose not to get it becouse of the big scale problum. Aklthough the detail on the fighter is good it is waaaay off scale from the movie.

About 6-inches tall. Under $35. And it can do your homework, but I can’t vouch for the grades he might get you.
