I understand that this toy is intended to go along with a costume and not to be used in (play) battle but the plastic and very flimsy “blades” break right off/fall out of the gray handle with little more than a tap on the floor. Very disappointing. It seems as though the company could have avoided this by using hard plastic solid pieces as blades rather than the corkscrews that have to be pulled out of the center.

The toy only lasted a couple of weeks before breaking. I haven’t even paid the bill yet, and it’s already broken. I would not recommend purchasing this product.

That is exactly where this piece of trash is right now. It wasn’t used in a rough way, but the ultra thin telescoping “blades” broke apart and won’t go back together. Do not buy! It’s impossible to find a Darth Maul double light saber, so we immediately bought this for my son. I should have passed, since not having one would have been so much better than being in tears when we had to throw it away. Terrible quality at a high price!

MY SON BEGGED AND BEGGED FOR THIS SWORD. DESPITE ALL THE NEGITIVE REVIEWS, I ORDERED ANYWAY JUST TO TEACH HIM A LESSON. THE REVIEWERS ARE COMPLETELY CORRECTLY WHEN THEY SAY THIS IS GARBAGE. IT BROKE WITH 30 MINUTES (MAYBE SOONER). YOU CAN JUST LOOK AT IT AND IT’LL FALL APART. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DON’T BUY THIS CHEAP PRODUCT.
