Ring Wars: Reloaded is a student-made fan film based off of characters from the Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and The Matrix sagas. When six unsuspecting students are transported into a world they have never known, there’s bound to be some action. Our tale begins when our heroes are sitting down at home to enjoy their favourite movies. Brian and Mark (two heterosexual males) watching Lord of the Rings, Corey and Paige (two friends) watching Star Wars, and Bob and Kait (two sort-of-friends) watching The Matrix, are all brought together when they each leave the rooms they’re in and wind up in a mysterious hallway. Their clothing has changed, and some have even had their physical appearances altered. They all meet up, and attempt to figure out what has happened. Upon entering a seemingly random door, the boys are introduced to the plot by a mysterious man who simply goes by, “The Architect”. He explains that he was the one who created the world they now inhabit – called “The Matrix” – and has lost something of great importance to him. He enlists their help by offering them to keep the powers of the movie characters they have been given if they can find his lost program, The Keymaker. The boys are given a choice of whether or not to fulfill the task – but are warned that the power may not be all that it seems.
