@KingRepulsa no not really, episode II was the beginning of the clone wars, this is based right after episode II, the new animated one is also based right after II. Overall the cartoon one and the new animated one, are the same, but with a completely different storyline.

They’ve got to have Durge in the new Clone Wars series. Since George Lucas stated that he still wants The Clone Wars to maintain continuity with the other Star Wars installments, I’m pretty sure Durge will appear sooner or later to show everyone how much of a boss he is.
