This was one game i really wanted to try but kept forgetting to. I am def going to pick this up after seeing your review. I saw many negative reviews but when it comes to RPGs, i don’t necessarily look for ground breaking game play (or just games for that matter) as long as they are fun. There is a definite difference between OLD vs Broken gameplay. just because it is old doesn’t mean game sucks imo.

@MegaPollen I don’t know, it would be hard to make one as good as the original, especially since the story seemed kind of finished at the end of Eternal Sonata. I’m not quite sure Tri-Cresendo would be able to make a sequel with as much love and harmony as Eternal Sonata contained. It really was a beautiful game.

So… A sequel would be nice, but I’m a bit afraid it wouldn’t turn out at great as the original.

i wish they did a sequel of Eternal Sonata!!!!

Eternal Sonata was released by NamcoBndai too, and that is still one of my favorite, if not my favorite game ever.

I’ve only just heard of this game and have already ordered it thanks to this vid, i was just wondering what is the gap between this one and the original?

@hollowichi1931 My favourite series of games. Just wish that they would release more in this country, i’ve heard that Tales of Graces is being localised for the PS3 and the PS3 is getting the Full version of Vesperia but we 360 owners are stuck with the half finished version. Still a great game though. as i said just wish we got more of them.

@ZeitgeistReview Oh… have to? Kinda gay but okay… lol I guess it’ll be an interesting experience either way huh?

ZeitgeistReview

@EmoKakashi You have to switch characters. It’s a basic mechanic and you won’t get very far in the game if you don’t utilize it.

@ZeitgeistReview Alright, sounds good! But I kinda dont like switching between character so I probably will just use one and fail haha. Just like in all the star oceans I have ever played… lol. Yeah but thanks again for the vid and I am gettin it friday so I hope its better than I hope!

@EmoKakashi I just played this 2 weeks ago again. Don’t worry about the slow movement, that’s really only right in the beginning. You learn ways around it and you constantly switch characters while you fight, so you don’t even notice it. The character customization didn’t bother me either, as I liked what all of them look like already.

Thank god dude, I couldnt decide to get Fable 3 or this… and thanks to your vid, this blows fable 3 outta the water though fable 3 is pretty darn good. the only few things that are gunna bug me are, no character customization like perfect world or eve just like face, body and hair changes, the slow moving in combat as you said (star ocean was amazin), and like star ocean no online multiplayer. Besides that which fable three has an this lacks, this game look like quite the adventure.
