@HamGreenandEggs crafting system sounds like simplified EVE online crafting system to me atm, which is not that bad since crafting in EVE is one of the best ive seen so far

The crafting system does sound good, generally the systems are quite grindy and boring this actually sounds fairly different

Daniel Erickson is worth every penny Bioware pays him. He consistently gives GREAT interviews and does not come across as a corporate salesman. I love this guy and I can’t WAIT for TOR!

@deathlord1231 This game is like the other KOTOR games. You have the option to play it solo. The events are directly related to the previous games, in fact it’s been confirmed that Revan and Malak are referenced several times in several of the game’s storylines. I can’t see what you’re complaining about- it’s a higher-budget, better designed, better planned, and all-around more expansive in terms of gameplay, style and effort than the game that you claim to want. GOOD DAY, SIR.

@TheEraserRain when i made the comment i meant i wanted a game like the other kotor games. solo and not an mmo. i wanted it to be set near the timeline of kotor 2. this game does not seem like kotor 3. more like a filler.

@deathlord1231 Except that it’s an MMO. Different format, same idea, by all intents and purposes the same game. You’re making a false distinction that’s trivial and best and damaging at worst. This game is going to be better and better-funded than just KOTOR 3 could have ever been. You’re a fool for wishing for a crappier game. And don’t argue semantics.

@TheEraserRain obsidian made the second one and go look up kotor 3 on google. it was scrapped. if this was kotor 3 it would be called star wars knights of the old republic 3

@deathlord1231 Except that it’s the third Star Wars game by Bioware that has The Old Republic as it’s backdrop. It’s KOTOR 3. It wasn’t scrapped, it was changed and you’re an idiot.

@matheuswoww Well remember these companies have much more money to work with. More stable server performance, population, money to output consistent content updates, fast patches/hotfixes, and so on. Obviously that doesn’t make a game but it sure can break it.

@WhatsUpWithHenry i have the exact same opinion .. i just think that TOR is way more famous currently , due to famous companies and that they are publishing it a lot trought the media ! … Guild Wars 2 don’t reveal shit for long time so far , but still it won’t have any monthly fees so im pretty sure we will be able to play both games , even if that means the end of our social lifes lol.

guildwars 2 seems more interessting it overshadowed TOR for me i am gonna check this one out though
