3.18 this was so close to being another Luke hand (or both hands) cut off. Basically the same move from ESB when Vader defeated him. Luckily, this time the Force was with the young Skywalker.

@SlipknotRocksSIC There are actually a couple reasons why Cheez is right in this respect. It was emotional, but nowhere near the level of this scene, and its a quarter of the total length. The acting is what makes it emotional. Anakin woodenly talking about how everything will be remade and Obi-Wan then stopping him versus Luke protecting his sister? No contest. The amount of emotional investment in the characters of Luke and Leia by this point is far beyond anything in the prequels

when Luke goes berserk, that music there was better than the music you added. On the other places you added music though, that was fine

I like this with Anakin vs Obiwan Music over that lousy duel music in the evil guy’s chamber.

this would have been a very good original ending, it would have explained why he hesitated.
