My son is 5 years old and loves everything Star Wars. We have other Star Wars legos but this is the only set he doesn’t want to take apart. I do wish the colors on the directions were more distinctive. Sorting the colors before assembly helps. It took about 5 hours to assemble everything. This set has lots of play value and when I asked my son what he thought he said, “I love this toy but be careful because it’s very delicate and it costs lots of dollars.”

First Lego set we ever had a problem with (and my son has dozens of sets.) The directions have you fitting two angled pieces together to make the base of a column (several times for several columns or pillars), but they don’t fit tight enough to snap on to the base next to each other. We had to modify the design slightly. Frustrating! The rest of the set is fine, and the walls blow out with the push of a button as shown, which is cool.

Joshua is 4 and he loves these legos. He puts them together himself. With his mother’s love for him, he may have them all someday.
