I purchased this toy for my nephew for his 6th birthday. It was the first toy he wanted to open. Once opened he spent the rest of the day trying to figure it out. Although the box says for ages 8+, my nephew enjoys the challenge of more difficult Legos and bores easily with the simpler sets. As a child of the 1980′s, I was also eager to see the final product, and enjoyed watching my nephew build the Falcon.

I bought this for my nephew for Christmas. At 4 1/2 years old, he enjoys Legos and Star Wars (though he’s not very good at building Legos yet). I found the set pretty easy to assembly and pretty cool looking, and though my nephew was a little disappointed that there isn’t a place to put Lego men, he did find a place to wedge them in there.

OK, what’s going on here? The MSRP for this new product is only 39.99. This is worse than Gamestop selling the Wii Motion Plus for $5 above MSRP. I’ll update my review when I’ve purchased it elsewhere…
