2007, color w/sound: The first episode of Lego Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Filmed in stop-motion. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the storyline, here’s what’s happening: A Republic soldier wakes up on a ship, the Endar Spire, with no idea what’s going on. Another soldier, Trask Ulgo, teams up with him as they repel the oncoming Sith troopers. They come across a Sith apprentice, Darth Bandon. Trask sacrifices himself so his teammate can make it to safety. Along the way, he meets Carth Onasi, another Republic soldier, and together they escape in the last escape pod. That was good. Better than I expected, but in the actual game things didn’t happen quite that fast. Oh, well. It was still a good brickfilm. I’ll give it a thumbs-up.
