This is a video showing how to reseal, or “recard” a vintage Star Wars action figure to a reproduction cardback. When finished, it looks like an original unopenend figure mint on the card. This video shows all the tools you will need and explains exactly how to recard the figure. If you’ve got vintage Star Wars figures, this is a great way to display them! PART 2 OF 3 If you collect vintage Star Wars figures, be sure to check out my other videos. They are probably copied cards, not originals.

realy thats a cool story i wish i could have wrote a letter to kenner

Wow, I can’t believe there are aftermarker cards and bubbles. Thanks for the information. I have about 100 original figures my my youth. I enjoy them uncarded in their cases. Funny story, as a child I sent a hand written letter to Kenner asking for a replacement gun for one of my figures. I received a bubble wrap manilla envelop several weeks/months later from kenner containing a bag of about 100 various plastic guns, probably 1 or 2 of every gun ever produced for the figures!!

this guy is obviously good at this, leave him alone. but, i will say this. he really should be wearing white gloves or some powder free latex gloves to prevent fingerprints. otherwise good stuff and hey, why spend a fortune on AFA graded figs when you can get one of these for 15 bucks.

After reading your heartfelt opinion on this matter, once I had stopped crying tears of shame I must admit you are quite correct and I shall no longer refer to these small pieces of plastic as dolls. Ps on reflextion get a life and stop placing these kids toys on a pedastal and get out of your moms basement.
November 3, 2010
Tazzrascal, Fine, they are dolls and you hate them. It’s O.K. for you to say they’re dolls. It’s O.K. to hate them, that’s cool. But OTHER PEOPLE like me like them, and WE’LL mind our own business and we won’t bother you, as long as you don’t bother us. That sounds like a fair deal.
Great Video Darth, 5 stars.

Had to check again….. Yes they are dolls.
November 3, 2010
Not dolls, Action Figures son!!
November 3, 2010
Surely this is taking being a loser to new levels. They are just dolls for crying out loud.

I have thought the same thing many times. If somebody would come out with “peel and stick” bubbles, they would make ALOT of money.
-Darth Beer
November 3, 2010
why don’t they sell the bubble with the tape already on it “peel and stick” ,it would save a lot of work
November 3, 2010
Just get on ebay and search “Star Wars cardback” or “Star Wars kit” and you should find several sellers. I don’t ever go with any one seller. I just look for the lowest price.

Aww man, you know I was just kidding (hince the

No, it’s not scamming. I do these recards for my personal collection. Selling these recarded figures to other people isn’t scamming either, as long as you tell them that it’s a recard, and not an original unopened figure.
It’s only scamming if you recard a figure and then sell it to someone else as an original.
I wouldn’t recommend doing that though, because most vintage figure collectors can spot a recard from a mile away.
It could cause alot of trouble for you.

Isn’t this scamming?
