Hilt custom made by Novastar (uses some TCSS parts) Luxeon III Red-Orange @ 1.5A via CF v2.61 7.4v Li-Ion 18650 cells @ 2400mah Unique 45mm speaker — very high quality! Custom sound mixes by Novastar Demonstrating the LED saber light & sound driver made by PlecterLabs.com Version 4 includes a myriad of extra features, including extra LEDs for “glitz” that can be programmed/sequenced… 6 sound font banks, a menu selection mode, and a music/sound player–”iSaber”. I’ve wired in an LED that behaves like the blade flicker (main Luxeon), and also a “feedback” motor. We’ll see how those work out. Note the “lockup”, “Force” and “blaster deflection” effects that sets it apart from an FX driver, and the Crystal Focus board also allows for controlling the current… also good for the “ramping on/off” effect. @ironedge… this saber is not for sale, and it’s really a “one of a kind” custom saber, built by myself. Although it’s not really *super* complicated to build it the way I did.
As to the “Crystal Focus” driver board that makes everything go bang zoom… they are hand-soldered, specially made boards.
Although a new batch of them (from Plecterlabs) should be coming soon enough…

The sounds are amazing! Where might I be able to find this sound board. I am putting together a saber using MHS parts and would like to throw this sound unit in. I would imagine it is rather expensive as well.

Really? Hmm… you might want to look at my videos a bit more–you’d understand that in the DIY LED saber community… there is just as much giving as there is taking.
I have contributed a lot, and do my best to share and grow the technology with LED sabers… what about you?
