By Top Star Wars Toys, June 25, 2010 Star Wars Videos

*~*~ HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! ~*~* (holidaze??) And a happy New Year to you all…!! PEACE. :) ————————————————- How to make lightsabers, or a custom LED light saber. Hilt custom made by Novastar (uses some TCSS parts) Luxeon K2 Green @ 1.5A via CF v2.61 7.4v Li-Ion 18650 cells @ 2400mah Unique 36mm speaker — very high quality! Custom sound mixes by Novastar Demonstrating the LED saber light & sound driver made by PlecterLabs.com Version 4 includes a myriad of extra features, including extra LEDs for “glitz” that can be programmed/sequenced… 6 sound font banks, a menu selection mode, and a music/sound player–”iSaber”. Note the “lockup”, “Force” and “blaster deflection” effects that sets it apart from an FX driver, and the Crystal Focus board also allows for controlling the current… also good for the “ramping on/off” effect. @The12Child Certain focusing crystals that are in the lightsaber are bonded with the Jedi, the crystals have a stronger effect based on the Jedi’s connection with the force. therefore, no force, no lightsaber. Also there are materials that are resistant to lightsabers: Cortosis, Felucian Skullblade, Mandalorian iron, Neuranium, Phrik, and Ultrachrome. Also, it takes a great amount of control in using the force to be able to wield and use a lightsaber. Yes, I am a nerd…

@Darthtoshu There is already a music player built-in to the Crystal Focus board… :) You can put up to 15 tracks on versions 2.x through 4.x… and the upcoming versions will allow much more.

@ZoldierrZzz … hahahha–the only thing that would make me a “real jedi” would be if I was able to help/inspire/teach more children. Or adults for that matter.

Whether you meant it as a joke or not… I really think that a “jedi” would be a modern samurai… in that they should SERVE others, help others, inspire others to achieve their goals and dreams.

At least… that’s MY two measly cents… :D

@Eziodefirnzee … there are actually several videos I have regarding the building of these sabers, but look up “CF Wiring Guide” in my account. That will help you get an idea of the patience, planning and work. :)
