Thanks to you, I have found my real passion and it is being a make-up artist. :) I was down because my parents don’t seem to care much about it and won’t even pay for a course so I have to find one for free and start from there. Watching this made me feel so much better at least. I will try and still go after my dream.

Thank you for the amazing advice! I really appreciate the time and enthusiasm you have. I’m a fellow creative, but in a different area (graphic design), and have expanded my love of art to the makeup arena! Thanks again for the advice!

Do you have any idea where I might possibly find a school or any kind of mentor anywhere near Northeast PA. I’m really interested and make up is something I really like to be honest, but being stuck in what feels like nowhere I’m having a lot of difficulty.

You inspire me so much. I’m turning sixteen soon and this is really my dream. In a month I’m going to fill in the papers, trying to get in to a beauty school here in Sweden. I’m a bit scared, since it seems that it’s really hard to get a job as a makeupartist, but oh.. I want this so bad!

@honeyflower3 The license will depend on the state or country that you are in. I know for sure that every state in the US for teaching purpose, you will need a license or certificate of completion of make-up artistry course. I’m self taught and the laws in my state is as long as I’m not teaching or doing eyebrow shaping(like a razor), then it’s fine. I hope this helped you out

You know Kandee? I really like that you are funny when you need to be funny and it adds joy and laughs for us to watch you (like in the Ivy Poison video &Maleficient tutorials) YET you are serious and motivational when the time requires it. Thank you Kandee. Right now I am a university degree 3-4 year student but my dream is to become a makeup artist. I practice as much as I can I have started doing makeup for weddings.
Thank you for your insights Kandee. You are beautiful inside out! :)

Who the hell gives some douchebag the right to tell Asian American people how to represent themselves and their art? I will not be dictated to, about who I can watch, I am from England, and so do not really understand, all the clearly racist structure in American societies, but having been a fan of Kung-Fu movies all my life, and since being an adult my viewing has become more diverse in all aspects of Asian movies, long live Asian movies! Fuck all the haters.
