My kids were so excited to get this game for Christmas. I remember playing Guess Who and I was equally excited to play this with them. I thought, how cool, we all love Star Wars, this is going to be great. Wow, was I wrong!

From the second you open the box, you can see this is not the same quality as the old edition of this game. You have to punch out all the pieces and assemble the game and when you do, you will be extremely frustrated because the plastic window pieces do not stay in place or easily slide open and closed. Unlike the old edition, where you could turn it on its side and all the pictures would open up, 90% of these stay closed and you have to force them open. When you do, the windows pop out of their holders. When you’re playing, the windows don’t close easily and pop out continuously as well. It’s so frustrating for the kids to wait between each game while I spend time forcing all the windows back open.

The card stock with the pictures is low quality as well. They’re smaller and get bent easier. This is a piece of junk. I e-mailed Milton Bradley with these complaints weeks ago and have not received a response. Apparently, the are laughing all the way to the bank. It looks like this cost them about 3 cents to produce and I paid $25 for this game.

My 6 year old son was so excited to get this. We have the electronic version which is great. I can’t believe how cheap this one is made – the cards bends/break, you can’t open and close it and it breaks in 1 game. He wants nothing to do with it and I wasted $20. I’m shocked how bad this is…

The kids got this as a present and I put it together. The pieces wouldn’t lay all the way down and were very hard to pull back up. I figured that after some use they would loosen up and be easier to play with. I was right! Unfortunately now they just fall off the board. I have to flip each piece up individually and they usually come off in my hand. It’s very frustrating for me and boring for the kids. I am severely unimpressed with the quality of this game.

I ordered this game from Amazon despite some reviews about poor quality. We already had the original version of the game, which isn’t of the highest quality to begin with, so I expected the Star Wars version to be horrible. I was relieved to find that the Star Wars version is of the same quality as our original game. It’s not top notch, but it stays together and is playable.

For those who say the cards fall out, I can only assume that you are not inserting them correctly. There is an in-out-in-out-in pattern that you must follow and if you don’t do the final tuck, it will pop out. Likewise, if your doors aren’t closing all of the way, check for stray pieces of plastic left over from removing them from the frame.

The game itself is great. My daughter really knows Star Wars and she loves to play. You must be a Star Wars fan of the original, prequels and Clone Wars movie/series to know who all of the characters are. The same logical development of the original game is still present as the players must ask good questions to eliminate the possible choices.

My son is such an avid Star Wars fan so I purchased this even though I read some poor reviews. It is time consuming to put together and after using it just a few times it is falling apart. My son is only 5 so he is still getting full enjoyment from playing. I would not recommend anyone buy this. It is a big disappointment if you are familiar with the old version of Guess Who. This is not even close to same quality.
