General Grievous vs Jedi

General Grievous lost to Obi-Wan because Mace Windu severely weakened him after Force-crushing his chest cavity. That’s why he also split his arms before he started fighting Obi-Wan, because he wasn’t at full strength & had to use his full range of capabilities.

That & Obi-Wan actually was a better Jedi than most.

@666malik Obi Wan killed them using the Spirit of a True Jedi. He is the only Jedi I know that Works closely with Mace, and Yoda.

Aren’t Jedi supposed to have or show no emotion?

@666malik Shorty before the events of episode 3 revenge of the sith while Grievous was kidnapping Palpatine mace windu crushed his chest before he escaped. Meaning Grievous was nothing in episode 3 compared to this.

This was 2004, no one knew what Grevious was like because his character and design hadn’t been developed, and his first appearance was supposed to be ROTS, but Genndy Tartakovsky wanted to introduced him early which Lucas allowed him to do as this series was just a build up to ROTS. Lucas had been planning his series since ROTS was released, so he could fill the gap himself.

i think they already started to make general grievous weaker when they gave out that episode where most of the ones that where apparently owned by him, were exualy alive
