@TheACGProduction imo.fable1 was THE best out of all 3 games, but it also depends on what you like-1fable has a good balance of story/action gameplay/being able to customize your character (done best in this game, great cool armor and all that stuff..Fable2 still sticking to Fables roots, huge amount of customization, story is not as good as first but alright none the less,greatDLC.Fable3 less focus on customization & more on combat ,DLC not so great very short (improved w/traitors keep),

@alexvasilenko14 If you’re selecting faces, and not vertices (If I get this correct), you can just switch that with the buttons in the menu or the hotkeys Ctrl+Tab+1, 2 and 3. Use those and see what buttons in the menu toggle, that way I don’t have to explain exactly where they are.

A smooth transition? That’s best acchieved with UV mapping. It’s a completely different way of applying textures, but with a whole lot more possibilities.
Unfortunately I’ve never done it in Blender, only other programs. You should find something about it on the blenderartists forum though.

And yes, ambient occlusion (or global illumination, as it’s sometimes called) does look fantastic on a lot of projects. I also love using it, but only on the final render

PS: I played around with textures and stuff, and you said you’d like to see what people get, would you like me to post a vid showing what I got?

yeah, it takes for ever to render with it on my macbook pro. I did a pretty sweet carpet texture in blender using the default textures. But I max out the Ambient occlusion it looks really good though.

ambient occlusion is a great thing, but you don’t always want to use it. It usually more than doubles your rendering times (depending on your settings) and sometimes ruins the style you were going for. But only sometimes.

In the Worlds button there is a thing called Ambient occlusion and if you turn it on and set samples to at least 6 your renderings will look a lot better.
