Electronic Count Dooku-Star Wars-Unleashed custom figure-By: rkttkr
Â
This is my lighted custom Star Wars Episode III Count Dooku (also known as: Darth Tyannus,Lord Tyannus,Lord Dooku). Played by actor Christopher Lee. His light saber shown has 3 different light mode effects. He is from the Star Wars Unleashed action figure series.I am in no way affiliated with George Lucas Industries. I just like making figures like they were depleted in the movies.www.imdb.com

That’s a great custom job, the wood base gives it a nice quality touch.
I think the first setting on the blade was best, full on and then a few seconds of flickering.

@dinolast: I have never done a custom Boba Fett (yet) but have on several unleashed series. I have about 100 of these unleashed boxed/loose around here somewhere. Still have another custom Dooku to show.

I have this figure, and I would say along with Yoda and Boba Fett it’s one of the best of the unleashed series. The custom you have done to it makes it even better. Well done

Heir to the empire is the next star wars movie comming out in 2012-2013…
October 5, 2010
lol no prob I thought it was funny.
October 5, 2010
It most definitely is a vest. Sorry if I misled you by saying it was. Total brain fart on my part.
October 5, 2010
I’m pretty sure Talon Kardde is wearing a vest not a jacket. That’s what it looks like to me. Not because of the color being the same as his skin but because the way the arms are shaped and look where his arms come out of the vest there’s obviously holes for his arms to come out of it. Pretty sure it’s a vest.

Hi MissPennyworth! Yes, all three of ‘em are way cool. Karrde has the smarts and the leadership, and is morally upright even though he is a smuggler. I agree with you that the comic art could have been drawn more like the descriptions in the book, but oh well…I guess we must take what they made!
Well, I enjoyed reading your comment! Thanks for watching
October 5, 2010
I so agree with your assessment of Talon Karrde; Karrde, Mara, and Thrawn were all three superb new characters, but Karrde is by far my favorite! I do wish that both the figures and the visuals in the comics adhered more closely to Zahn’s descriptions. I strongly agree about the Heir to the Empire comic – the artistic style didn’t suit Zahn’s story. I enjoyed watching your review!

Thank you very much!
October 5, 2010
Good review, very detailed figure descriptions!
October 5, 2010
Thank you!
October 5, 2010
I wish they would make a mvie out of the books there very cool but I dont that well ever happen.
October 5, 2010
i like your clear, calm way of describing the figures…
October 5, 2010
Wow, thanks for the info man. I gotta do a whole Thrawn Comic Pack review. With that one their will be three comic packs.
To bad the comic book had the Nogri as some overbearing brut who looke nothing like the ones described in the book. I hope the figure is not that way !
October 6, 2010
Yes, he’s definitely an improvement over the POTF2 version. I actually had my own custom Thrawn made b/c I wasn’t happy with Hasbro’s attempts.
BTW, I just saw some early shots of a comic pack with a Noghri Warrior and Ralrra (the Wookiee with the speech impediment). I’m hoping they turn out well.
October 6, 2010
I could not agree more. I am a big Heir to the Empire fan as well but neither the comic books or hasbro has taken those novels very seriously.
This thrawn is way better then the old one though. Trust me I have them both.
October 6, 2010
Good review dude, I got the same pack and it’s one of my favorites from the Legacy Collection.
Love Zhans novels as well.
October 6, 2010
No, no gun at all. Gotta add one yourself.
October 6, 2010
be careful with that damn razor blade dude jeeeeez !
October 6, 2010
awsome
October 6, 2010
the comic sucks but the figs are cool
October 6, 2010
That is correct.
October 6, 2010
my admiral came with no gun is that correct
October 6, 2010
I’d love a command chair for Thrawn but since Hasbro hasn’t even given us a good throne for the Emperor, it may not be in the cards.
October 6, 2010
Hm, good points. I agree with you. A little bit of a height difference between the two figures would have been nice as well. It’s too bad that Thrawn can’t sit down.
Man, it’d be nice if Hasbro could give us a chair for Thrawn to sit in as an accessory.
