I choose the colours for the camo scheme in ahead and either plan the camo or use an actual camo pattern to copy. No “fly it by the seat of your pants”-type paintjob.
The brush I use for camo paint apps is a size 2/0 and the figure was basecoated
with olive drab spraypaint to give it a nice even base colour.
