I found the Jedi vs Palpatine scene in Revenge of the Sith to be lacking due to the editing, so I tried my best to improve the scene with the clips from the film. It still drives me crazy, because I would have to re-film it to make it the way I want it, but instead I just took the footage from the film and tweaked it some. I removed several shots, the most prominent one being the shot after Palpatine lands after his twirl, where he snarls and brings back his lightsaber behind his head before stabbing it into Agen Kolar. This would’ve given Agen Kolar time to react, rather than stand there and and get stabbed. So, I removed it, that way his death is more realistic and his status as being a skilled swordsman can still somewhat be upheld, despite his death. Same goes with Saesee Tiin, who died quickly thereafter. Next, I added a scene with Anakin flying into the Senate Annex inbetween the duel with Mace Windu and Kit Fisto vs. Palpatine, to lengthen the time Kit Fisto was able to fight Palpatine, again, attempting to make the Jedi not look like weaklings who can’t hold their own.

@fixer16 well Sidious pumped his force into his speed while Windu focused on Vaapad. One the window was broken, Sidious slowed down because he had to use force to keep himself from falling.

@fixer16 The training under Darth Plagieus works with wonders with Palpatine! Indeed! Palpatine was also unpredictable in changing his style – he was a natural at all 7 forms, plus Sith forms and Dun Moch…I think only Exar Kun, Sion, the Revanchist, Darth Wrylock III, Andedu and perhaps Nihilus the Hunger would be able to give him a run for… Yoda and Windu and Luke (with enough practice) would also do well!

Sidious in the novel noted words were significantly more persuasive and powerful than the mere a lightsaber when Anakin was tempted to kill him as he admited Plagiueus was his master…yes he had Force Premonition just like in A New Hope “Everything has proceeded as foreseen!” – the Clone Wars and forcing Anakin to kill Dooku, separating him from Kenobi, tempting him with power was all but effective mere words

I would bring Kit Fisto because he is actually an extremely powerful Jedi. He only died because Mace Windu backed away like a coward, allowing Fisto to be sliced.
Finally, Plo Koon. He has great knowledge of the Force and was skilled in patience. He only died because he was in his starfighter. Had he been shot at by clones when he had his saber in his hand, he’d've lived.

@retardplane I don’t really agree with your choice of Jedi. Obi-Wan only ever won battles because of luck. With Darth Maul, Maul was stupid enough to stand still to get chopped in half. Grievous was stupidto leave a blaster lying around, and with Anakin, he was stupid enough to try a force jump over obi wan. With Yoda, true that he does fancy flippys and stuff, but he never actually defated anyone in battle.
If I was Mace Windu, I would take Luminara Unduli, Kit Fisto and Plo Koon.

I really like this re-edit the scene feels faster paced the first two Jedi killed seem to be caught off guard realistically. The best part is where the Anakin clip makes it seem Kit Fisto lasted longer.

Also, at 1:23, i’m trained in arts….
