Here’s an Updated Video of my Astromech collection… 56 Strong and Growing
Astromech droids were a type of droid that served as automated mechanics, performing a variety of repair duties and often serving as adjuncts or substitutes for nav computers on smaller starships. An astromech droid’s primary purpose on smaller ships such as starfighters was as a backup or replacement for a nav computer; however, due to the limitations of each unit’s astrogation buffer, an astromech could only hold a set number of hyperspace coordinates. They also provided in-flight maintenance and repair, and performed a number of routine functions so the pilot could focus on flying the ship. R2 units Larger starships usually carried a large complement of these in case of malfunctions or combat damage, while some snubfighters (notably the T-65 X-wing starfighter and Naboo N-1 starfighter), carried a droid in a special port for in-flight field repairs. Astromech droids had, in some cases, also been known to carry out light janitorial duties, and several instances of slicing carried out by these droids have been known, though this often required the installation of special programming. Most astromechs were only able to communicate in writing, conveyed via another computer system, or through binary, a special code of clicks, bleeps, and similar sounds. Some craft that used astromechs could be equipped with astromech translators to facilitate communication. The term “Astromech droid” had been used …

@dragonamt actually that Astromech is and isn’t in there …. the figure you described just isn’t into perfect scale with the others , so I didn’t put that actual version in there …… but there was another version of the same droid , and it’s in there….. I have that one with the missile , but it was just too ugly looking compared to the rest. …. and as for Battle Droids …. I only have a small army of them.nothing compared to my Clone Troopers ..watch my SW Collection videos, you’ll see

@dragonamt anyhow, I am also curious if you have a battledroid army to go with your clones, it would be awesome to see a vid of those if you do! they seem to be somewhat rare in comparison.

@Actionfigurexpert, I didn’t mean it in an offensive way or anything by the way. And actually I do think on second thought I see it on the far right. It is the exploding R5 unit that came in a set with 2 jawas that have the ‘skylight’ type eyes. It has speckled particles in the mold, it is hard to tell if that is it in the vid especially since you don’t show it with the jawas, it has a yellow missle that splits the model in two (the malfunction).
